Harley takes up Canva job

Jonathan Harley has joined software giant Canva as its new media and newsroom chief.
He came over from Twitter, where led the microblog site’s content and APAC news/partnerships divisions for four years total. His media experience came from reporting and producing for ABC, Nine, and Endemol Shine.
Harley’s entry into the company is part of a new campaign to meld its technology into the media landscape, which also included hiring Mitch Holmes and Lachlan Andrews in the PR section.
