This week ITJourno spends five minutes with Beverley Head, the experienced journalist coming into the sector following difficulties in finding jobs after completing her degree in metallurgy in the ‘80’s.

Where do you work and what do you do?
I am a freelance journalist, writing about enterprise technology for iTWire, Banking Day, AFR, Government Technology Review and TechLife amongst others.
What have you done in the past and how long have you been in journalism?
I’ve been a technology journalist for 29 years. I started off as a reporter on Minicomputer News, which was based in Bride Lane at the bottom end of London’s Fleet Street in 1983. I came to Australia in 1986 with Computerworld, before Alan Kohler hired me as IT editor of the Financial Rev...
