Exclusive: Swan to join Herald/Age
By Phil Sim in Media News on Tuesday, 15th August 2023 at 11:22amThe Australian’s technology editor David Swan will leave the News Limited newspaper to take up a similar position for Nine’s Herald and Age mastheads in October.
The move will see Swan re-link with Supratim Adhikari, Deputy Business Editor at The Age and Sydney Morning Herald. The pair worked together at Technology Spectator, the technology spin-off from business media start-up Business Spectator. Both were acquired by News and subsumed into The Australian.
That 2015 acquisition saw Swan and Adhikari join The Australian, and Swan has remained on the paper ever since, stepping up to Technology Editor in 2020.
Just as he does for The Australian, Swan will cover both technology and telecommunications.
