Erin Edwards appointed news director for Brisbane and Gold Coast at Seven Network

The Seven Network has announced the appointment of Erin Edwards as the news director for its Brisbane and Gold Coast newsrooms, effective from 2025, according to an official release.
Edwards, a Walkley Award-winning journalist and Queensland native, will oversee the editorial and managerial operations for both newsrooms, reporting directly to Anthony De Ceglie, Seven’s director of news and current affairs.
Edwards brings extensive experience from her time as executive editor at 10 News Queensland and a 22-year career at Seven, where she previously served in various roles across Mackay, Townsville, Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane. She is recognised for her coverage of the Lockyer Valley Flood.
