Eddington appointed Herald and Weekly Times board executive

The board of Victoria mastheads The Herald and Weekly Times will have prominent businessman Sir Rod Eddington sitting at the table, starting 1 May 2019.
NewsCorp Australia stated today that he was chosen on account of his long relationship with the conglomerate and his strong record in business and executive management. These include chairman of JP Morgan’s Asia-Pacific Advisory Council, News Ltd deputy chairman, and non-executive director of NewsCorp and 21st Century Fox.
“It has been my privilege to work with News Corp for more than 20 years, and being appointed to the Board of HWT continues that privilege,” said Eddington.
