Bill Forster makes the move to New Zealand Chess Magazine

Semi-retired software engineer Bill Forster (pictured) has taken over as editor of New Zealand Chess Magazine, and admitted to Influencing that his challenge for the magazine is “initially all about survival”.
“Conventional wisdom seems to be that small magazines are doomed,” he said. “But I try to look at it this way — conventional wisdom also dictates that the corner video store, say, is doomed, and indeed the future for a vanilla chain video store doesn't look bright.
