BestRecipes.com.au guzzled up by News Limited

Australia’s largest user-generated recipe website, BestRecipes.com.au, has been purchased by News Limited - the first major acquisition under new CEO Kim Williams.
The website has over 11,000 user-made recipes, and the 190,000 registered members are tasked with rating and reviewing them - with a total of 1.5 million unique visitors using the recipes a month.
Kim Williams, who took the reins at News Limited in December, said food publishing is one of the most attractive advertiser environments and is highly contested amongst print and online outlets.
