Barbaschow exits Gizmodo

EXCLUSIVE | Gizmodo's managing editor Asha Barbaschow is departing publisher Pedestrian to take up a technology communications role.
"I've decided to move to the dark side," Barbaschow told Influencing.
While not ready to disclose her new employer, Barbaschow did reveal she would be "doing enterprise technology things". The move harks back to Barbaschow's first technology media role where she spent nearly seven years reporting for business technology title ZDNet.
"I've really missed the enterprise side of tech," she said.
Barbaschow joined Gizmodo in 2021, right in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown.
"It was literally shut one laptop and open up another," she said.
