Australian Traveller turns 20

One of Australia’s longest running independent mastheads has just turned 20, and co-founder Quentin Long has talked about how it came about.
“On this day 20 years ago, Nigel Herbert and I launched Australian Traveller Media's first brand, Australian Traveller magazine and Australiantraveller.com with the simple mission to help Australians fall in love with their own country,” Long said on LinkedIn.
This week he said he took some time out to review some of the most memorable covers and the evolution of the website.
“Some covers nearly killed the business, others saved it, and yet others taught me incredible lessons (like I shouldn't be the cover editor),” said Long.
