Amy Sinclair leaves Famous

After a year in the role as editor of gossip title Famous, veteran magazine editor Amy Sinclair has left the magazine and the hunt for a replacement has begun.
After spotting a job ad for the top editorial job at Famous, Influencing rang a Pacific Magazines spokesperson who confirmed Sinclair’s departure. The work email for Sinclair also now bounces back an away message that confirms the news.
The former New Idea, NW and Woman’s Day editor joined Famous in March last year.
The magazine has seen its sales improve since the appointment, including being the best performing women’s weekly title in last week’s ABC circulation figures, dropping just 2.9 per cent year-on-year.
