Allan Aldworth announces career change to stay-at-home dad

After nearly a decade in the radio industry, Allan Aldworth, known for his role as the breakfast announcer at Hit WA on Southern Cross Austereo (SCA), will be stepping away from his full-time role and embrace a new chapter as a stay-at-home dad. Sharing the update with his followers, he said that he will be finishing up by the end of the week.
Aldworth’s career in radio spanned over nine and a half years with almost five of those spent on the popular Hit breakfast show. His decision to transition comes as he prepares for more time at home with his family. Financial demands of raising children influenced the move, he humorously noted.
