But what if technology could take over the repetitive work and free up time for storytelling? That’s where artificial intelligence (AI) steps in, say media experts, including India Today Group’s Vice Chairperson Kalli Purie.
Speaking at the 25th edition of FICCI Frames 2025, held on October 7 and 8 at The Fairmont, Mumbai, Purie shared her confident vision of how newsrooms can co-exist with AI, not as rivals but as partners in creativity. The Silver Jubilee edition of Asia’s premier media and entertainment conclave brought together industry leaders to discuss the future of film, television, OTT, and artificial intelligence.
