ABC Radio Adelaide's David Bevan announces retirement

Reflecting on his 24 years in radio, David said, “It’s been an absolute privilege to sit in this room every weekday. [Radio] is the most intimate of media, but it’s also the very best media.” He humorously noted that his last day will be Friday, the 13th, assuring listeners that "nothing could possibly go wrong."
According to Radio Info, Bevan began his career in radio in 2000 on the Mornings program with Philip Satchell, after previously working in print and ABC television news. In 2002, he teamed up with Matthew Abraham, and the duo co-hosted the Mornings show for a decade before Bevan moved to the Break...
