Aaj Tak has become the first Indian mainstream news channel to cross 15 million followers on Instagram, cementing its lead in the digital news space. The milestone reflects the channel’s continued focus on real-time reporting, visual storytelling, and audience engagement.
The channel also maintains a dominant presence across other platforms, with 70.8 million subscribers on YouTube and 37 million followers on Facebook. On Instagram, Aaj Tak's following significantly outpaces competitors like ABP News (4 million), Zee News (4 million), News24 (3.5 million), and India TV (2 million).
Known for its “Sabse Tez” brand, Aaj Tak combines on-ground reporting with digital formats like reels and live updates, positioning itself as one of the most followed news brands globally.
