I am News Editor at Whirlpool, which is a volunteer run website covering broadband-related topics. I've been involved with Whirlpool for around 6 years. I mainly write about issues affecting residential broadband consumers in Australia. I also administer our sister site Broadband Choice, a comprehensive directory of broadband providers in Australia.
How do you like to be contacted by PR? How do you not?
Email is preferred. Because Whirlpool is not my day job, phone contact is usually more intrusive.
What was your first break into journalism?
I've only written for Whirlpool. Apart from providing the occasional quote for other journos, that's my only brush with the media.
