FUN DAY UNITES NORTHERN RIVERS COMMUNITY

Announcement posted by CPL - Choice, Passion, Life 23 Nov 2018

Leading provider of integrated support, therapy and advice for people living with disabilities, CPL, will host a celebration for families in the Ballina community next weekend.
The major disability provider and profit-for-purpose organisation currently provides vital support to more than 8,000 children and adults with disabilities across the northern New South Wales region and in Queensland.

On Saturday 1 December, CPL will host a picnic in the park to celebrate its community involvement and share the word about their local services with a free sausage sizzle by Rotary Club of Ballina on Richmond, a live acoustic performance from Jock Barnes, face painting, balloon twisting and more entertainment for whole family.

CPL CEO, Rhys Kennedy, said that the organisation’s further expansion into the southern corridor emphasised their commitment and purpose to create an all-inclusive society for people with disabilities.

“We help thousands of families every day to live a better life through comprehensive and holistic support wherever necessary, and with this expansion we’re excited to be integrating with the Ballina community further to offer the same,” he said.

“It’s our job to highlight the vital importance that the health and social sector plays in the local community so that we are able to provide meaningful services that benefit all families.”

This year marks a milestone for CPL, with 70-years working alongside people with disabilities and their families throughout Queensland and now into northern New South Wales.

CPL’s community picnic is open for anyone to attend and will be held from 1pm-3pm in Missingham Park, Kingsford Smith Drive, Ballina on Saturday 1 December.
