George Clinical and the China Anti-Cancer Association Australia launch inaugural research seminar.

26 SEPTEMBER, 2018 – (SYDNEY) In recognition of the largest non-English speaking ethnic groups in Australia, George Clinical, a leading Asia Pacific CRO, and the China Anti-Cancer Association Australia (CACA) have joined together to launch the inaugural CACA research seminar entitled: Cancer incidence, palliative care among Chinese migrants to Australia.

 

The event, which will be held at George Clinical's Sydney HQ, will consist of three important keynote talks by key health researchers and members of the Australia-Chinese community. The three talks include:

 

·       Cancer Incidence among Chinese Migrants to Australia 2007-2011: results from a national cohort study; Dr Xue Qin Yu, Senior Research Fellow, Cancer Research Division, Cancer Council NSW

·       Light in the Darkness - Information and Resources for Palliative Care Cancer Patients and Their Families with Chinese Background;  Dr George Zhang,   Research Project Officer, CanRevive Inc

·       Highlights from Chinese Conference on Oncology 2018;  Yaping Liu, Secretary-General, China Anti-Cancer Association Australia
