Announcement posted by Notitia 20 May 2026
Alex Avery, Founder and Managing Director of Notitia, said that the 100% "great place to work" result reflected the company's long-term goal to build a supportive, connected and people-first culture.
"Culture shapes everything inside a business, how people collaborate, how problems get solved, and ultimately the quality of work delivered to clients," Mr Avery said.
"We've always wanted Notitia to be a place where talented people can do meaningful work, continue learning, and feel supported by the people around them."
In its 2026 workplace survey, Notitia achieved:
- 100% agreement that Notitia is a great place to work
- 98% average across the Great Place to Work® model
- 99% Pride score
- 100% Camaraderie score
- 98% Trust score
As a national consultancy specialising in end-to-end data and digital transformation, Notitia works across healthcare, government, not-for-profit and commercial sectors, bringing together strategy, analytics, development and design-led thinking to solve operational and business challenges.
The company supports more than 100 Australian organisations through data strategy, analytics, web and app development, and UX/UI design-led digital solutions.
Mr Avery said the company's workplace culture has been shaped intentionally through a focus on flexibility, trust, communication and hiring people from a broad range of backgrounds.
"We've always believed the best teams are made up of people who think differently, challenge ideas respectfully and bring different experiences to the table," he said.
"When people feel comfortable contributing ideas and being themselves at work, you create a far more connected and collaborative environment.
"That diversity brings better ideas into the business and stronger outcomes for our team, our culture and our clients."
The survey results highlighted particularly strong scores across inclusion, belonging and workplace culture, including that 100% of employees felt welcomed when joining the company and agreed the company offers special and unique benefits.
Mr Avery said the company places strong importance on maintaining a workplace where employees are empowered to contribute ideas and ask questions.
"In consulting and technology environments, people spend a lot of time solving complex problems together," he said.
"Trust and communication become incredibly important.
"We want people to feel supported to contribute, continue learning and grow professionally."
Notitia operates as a flexible workplace, with offices located across Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Brisbane.
The company's approach includes hybrid work arrangements and a focus on supporting employees to balance work alongside family commitments, health and personal priorities.
"Our team is spread across Australia, but we work hard to maintain strong connection and collaboration across the business," Mr Avery said.
"Technology gives us the ability to work flexibly, but culture still needs to be built intentionally."
Mr Avery said Notitia places significant importance on bringing the team together in person throughout the year to strengthen relationships and maintain a connected workplace culture.
"Last year our company offsite took the team to the Gold Coast, and this year we're heading to Queenstown for a snow trip," he said.
"Those experiences are important because they help strengthen relationships beyond day-to-day project work.
"They create opportunities for people to connect personally, celebrate wins and spend time together outside of deadlines."
Notitia's workplace initiatives also include wellness-focused benefits, professional development opportunities and an emphasis on creating long-term career pathways for employees across different disciplines.
The business has continued to grow nationally while maintaining what Mr Avery describes as a "small team mentality", where employees have direct access to leadership.
"One of the things we value most is that people across the business genuinely care about each other and the work they're doing," he said.
"We actively build an environment that balances high standards and ambitious work with empathy, flexibility and support."
The Great Place to Work® survey also highlighted strong results across Pride and Camaraderie, with scores of 99% and 100% respectively.
Mr Avery said those results reflected the close-knit nature of the business and the sense of shared purpose across the team.
"Our work often focuses on helping organisations solve operational problems, improve services and make better decisions through data and technology," he said.
"That gives our team a strong sense of purpose because people can see the real-world impact of the work they're contributing to."
As the business continues to evolve, Mr Avery said maintaining a strong workplace culture would remain a key priority for the company's leadership team.
"Our industry moves quickly, but one thing that doesn't change is the importance of trust, communication and supporting people," he said.
"We want Notitia to continue being a place where talented people can do meaningful work, continue learning, and feel genuinely connected to the people around them."
