The Asia IP Elite recognises companies and organisations that excel in intellectual property value creation as determined by IAM based on its annual evaluations of companies and organisations.

In 2025, 101 companies in the Asia-Oceania region were selected and an award ceremony was held during IPBC Asia 2025.

Epson has been selected for this honour for 11 consecutive years since 2013(1).

Epson's strength lies in their patent portfolio centred on inkjet and piezo technologies, boasting top-class positions in Japan, the United States and China(2). Furthermore, Epson maintains high competitiveness in projector and robotics fields.

Epson has defined five levels in the value hierarchy(3) of its intellectual property activities. Epson has reached Level 4, where IP activities are fully integrated with business strategy and is now striving toward Level 5, aimed at accelerating innovation and strengthening the Epson brand.

In addition to cross-licensing and anti-counterfeiting measures, Epson focuses on IP utilisation to support open innovation and co-creation with startups.

Epson will continue to convert intellectual property into corporate value, contributing to sustainable growth and the creation of a better future.
