[Melbourne, 19 September 2024] The Australian Compliance Institute (ACI) has appointed a new CEO, Ms Joanne Phillips. Ms Phillips will commence her role on 30 September 2024.
A seasoned professional association executive, she has more than 18 years' experience leading teams in small and large associations, spanning health, law, education, sport, and industry. Ms Philips is passionate about creating member experiences that deliver value, building enduring relationships, and generating revenue. Most recently, Ms Phillips was Executive Director of the Science Teachers' Association of Victoria. Prior to this, she was Director Member Services of the Australian Retailers Association, and National Manager of AMPLA, the Energy & Resources Law Association.
Ms Phillips holds an MBA and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
As CEO of the ACI, Ms Phillips will develop and implement the ACI's strategic plan and mission, delivering exceptional services to a professional membership base; and positioning ACI as a leading industry representative and registered training organisation.
