District32, Australian Business Network is a Finalist in the Telstra Business Awards

Born in Perth, Western Australia, District32 is a premium business growth network where business leaders and experts across Australia form meaningful relationships to leverage the time, contacts and activities of a vast network both in Western Australia and the Gold Coast. Demonstrating outstanding growth while supporting small businesses in Australia, District32 is a finalist in the Telstra Best of Business Awards in the Outstanding Growth Category.  

The word district represents 'local' and 32 is the latitude running through Perth. District32, is about local businesses supporting local businesses.  Achieving outstanding growth in this area demonstrates that the state of small business is positive and growing with a healthy future outlook.

Lorraine Garvie and Dean Keating created it with a desire to help business owners succeed. Lorraine, originally from Scotland, was in business advisory, and Dean Keating, initially from Ireland, had worked in sales and business development for 20 years.  They met in Perth while growing their own businesses. Lorraine was facilitating networking events for her own lead generation, and Dean cold-called her looking for leverage when he arrived in Perth.

In trying to work together and refer each other to businesses, they noticed business owners couldn't afford everything they needed, e.g., advertising, training, web design, and networking, and the failure rate of small businesses was abysmal. They also noticed that if business owners couldn't access the correct information at the right time, it could devastate the business.  So, they decided to build a business growth platform where business owners could leverage the time, contacts, and activities of a vast network to reach goals faster and with fewer mistakes. 

Lorraine and Dean's mission is to support as many business owners as possible in gaining customers and building better businesses. They do this through the power of connection, and their philosophy is that we're better together; there's power in numbers. Members experience exponential growth, uncapped opportunities, and strategic shortcuts. 

Today, District32 has created a unique multi-tier growth Membership that is attractive to business owners worldwide. It is currently franchising in Australia and India.
