Quantum Mechanics is renowned as one of the most challenging subjects due to its abstract concepts that often defy intuition, such as wave-particle duality, superposition, and entanglement. It also relies heavily on advanced mathematics, including solving Schrödinger's equation and conducting functional analysis on Hilbert spaces. This discipline reshaped my thinking about reality, probability, and measurement. I was also captivated by advanced areas like String Theory, Quantum Field Theory, and General Relativity. The field of quantum computing, which began with Richard Feynman's lectures in 1982 and achieved quantum supremacy in 2019, has particularly inspired me."
Dr. Valianatos further explained how his formal Executive Business Strategy training, including a Master of Business Administration, a PhD in Leadership, Strategy, and Innovation, and Corporate Governance training as a Professional Board Director, enabled him to bridge the concepts of quantum mechanics with business strategy.
