Right now, one woman dies every eight hours from ovarian cancer in Australia. Despite this, ovarian cancer research remains critically underfunded, and survivability has barely improved for decades. The next generation of women and girls deserve better. Funds raised on the evening will allow OCRF to fund the most innovative ovarian cancer research, focusing on prevention, early detection, managing recurrence and improving treatment, so that women and girls have a better chance of survival.
