Baulkham Hills Squash and Fitness Moves to Recently Refurbished Dural Venue, Rebrands as "Hills Squash"
Announcement posted by Evolve Systems Group Pty Ltd 16 Aug 2024
Baulkham Hills, NSW - 14th August 2024:
After 17 years of running Baulkham Hills Squash and Fitness, James Ethan, the #1 International Best-Selling Author of "The Game of Squash" and was also ranked #251 in the world, announces the club's relocation and rebranding to "Hills Squash" at a newly refurbished facility at 36z Pellitt Lane, Dural.
The move, driven by the redevelopment of the current location into future residential apartments—a reflection of Sydney's growing housing crisis—will see the club open in Dural on 14th September 2024.
Sydney has seen the loss of many squash courts due to the redevelopment of land for housing, making any remaining courts a valuable asset for local health and fitness. The new Hills Squash facility in Dural is an important resource for the community, providing a space where residents can engage in one of the world's healthiest sports.
James Ethan, who has operated the club since 2007, has not only maintained a strong squash community but also developed his own unique system that has kept players engaged and motivated. By creating 15 different competitions a week, each night features a different style of game. While most people think there is only one type of squash game, James has used his imagination and creativity to introduce exciting variations that have kept the sport dynamic and enjoyable for all levels of players.
The Dural facility has recently undergone extensive refurbishments, offering players a refreshed and upgraded squash experience. These improvements, designed with player comfort and performance in mind, ensure a better experience for both casual and competitive squash players.
With squash's inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, interest in the sport is expected to grow, and Hills Squash aims to be at the forefront with its upgraded facilities.
"The new courts are a big improvement," said Ethan. "The refurbishments have brought the facility up to a high standard, and rebranding as 'Hills Squash' reflects our continued focus on providing a quality experience. Players will notice the difference as soon as they step on the court."
The official reopening of the Dural location will take place on 14 September 2024, and the public is invited to attend.
Squash, recognized by Forbes Magazine as the world's healthiest sport, continues to offer excellent value, ease of learning, and the ability to burn up to 1,500 calories per hour—making it ideal for busy lifestyles.
