Mad Mex has announced the return of its 1kg Big Burrito. But this year, there is a major plot twist that’s to die for!

Popular Mexican franchise, Mad Mex has announced the return of its infamous 1kg Big Burrito from 11th June - 21st July - and to celebrate, it's partnered with cult water brand, Liquid Death to bring customers a combo that promises to kill their hunger and murder their thirst. 

In its 14th year, the Big Burrito will be back on menus in a big way. Not only does the iconic double-sized burrito come with a FREE can of Liquid Death, but it also comes with a warning that will scare even the most daring burrito lovers.

Washing down a 1kg burrito with 500ml of thirst-killing water is no easy feat, and the Mexican restaurant is taking the possibility of a permanent food coma seriously by offering a plot twist of a promotion. Anyone daring enough to take on the challenge will go in the running to win a grand prize to die for - a foot (and body) in the door of the Australian property market... a place to set up roots... prime real estate in the dead centre of town...

To enter, customers just need to purchase a Big Burrito combo and write the inscription for their own tombstone or for a mate who valiantly tried and failed to complete the Big Burrito and Liquid Death challenge. The winner, who will be announced on 1 August will then become the proud owner of a burial plot - it's safe to say your future is set in stone.
