The house consists of a large kitchen/dining area, two separate and comfortable living areas, two spacious bathrooms (with bath and shower facilities) and six separate bedrooms (two high physical support rooms, three general rooms, and a self-contained independent/transition unit).
With everything on hand to suit individual needs including overhead tracking and hoisting if needed, digital TV, gaming, desktop computer and wifi, plus unimpeded access to outdoor entertaining areas, and gorgeous side and back gardens, Gorman House is a perfect accommodation option for people with disability, their families and carers to enjoy a comfortable break in the Yarrawonga region.
Gorman House provides peace of mind with our professional, qualified and caring Disability Support Workers (DSW) who are available for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Or if guests would be more comfortable with their own staff, volunteers or family to support their stay, they are most welcome.
A short term stay at Gorman House promises individuals are supported to experience the many attractions Yarrawonga has on offer. With Lake Mulwala and towering river red gums as a backdrop, the twin towns of Mulwala and Yarrawonga deliver a world of adventure with water activities such as fishing, water skiing and paddle-steamer cruises, plus delicious food experiences and Australia's largest public access golf resort at Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club.
