Dental treatment wait times and travel time decreases for Geelong residents

Geelong, Victoria, 16th January 2024, Dr Sharmaine Tee and her husband Dr David Yu met at university in Australia. They moved to Canada, where David is originally from. They ran a dental clinic in Canada for six years before returning back to Dr Sharmaine's hometown in Geelong, where they took over Sharmaine's Mums existing dental practice, Health View Dental.

Charmaine's Mum started the practice in 2004. The family continue to serve the community and have just merged their Healthview Dental practice with Dental Boutique and will now be known as Dental Boutique, Geelong.

Healthview Dental previously had four chairs and Dental Boutique Geelong now has 15 chairs. Dental Boutique Geelong now provides both cosmetic dental treatments and complex implant surgery. Dental Boutique Geelong employs dental surgeons which means less waiting times for locals needing urgent dental procedures and less travel time as many locals had to travel to Melbourne for treatment.
