SYDNEY – September 05, 2023:
Global stakeholder engagement & ESG consulting firm Morrow Sodali has appointed one of APAC‘s leading corporate communicators. Susan Redden Makatoa will join as Managing Director in September to lead a newly created corporate communications practice.
Morrow Sodali CEO, International Christian Sealey said the addition of Ms Redden Makatoa was a coup for the firm.
“We have been looking for some time to establish a corporate communications practice, and to have the opportunity to have Susan lead it for us is incredible.
“Susan’s experience in guiding clients through the challenges they face is a very rare commodity. She is also a skilled leader and people are incredibly loyal to her. We will be investing further to build a team around Susan which will then combine with our broader financial communications, transactions, shareholder engagement and ESG team of professionals.”
Based in Sydney, Susan’s corporate communications practice will round out a comprehensive and unique offering from Morrow Sodali, encompassing corporate governance, compensation, ESG, sustainability, proxy solicitation, capital markets intelligence, shareholder and bondholder engagement, M&A, activism and contested situations, financial communications, investor relations and research.
