Ange Fragiacomo of Conscious Living Hub is committed to sharing advice and inspiring women so they can move from busy to balanced!
Being able to create balance is so important right now. A recent survey by the Women’s Agenda quoted that 77% of women believe they may have experienced burnout in the past 12 months, with 63% of these women citing overwhelm on balancing career and home responsibilities as the leading factor1.
These findings are consistent with other recent reports, in fact feelings of rushing through the day, constantly being pressed for time and always ‘on’, has never been a more accepted and unavoidable aspect of our lives.
But it doesn’t have to be this way as Ange Fragiacomo explains, “We are each the narrator of our own destiny, and no matter how stuck one feels, it really is possible to break your busy-ness cycle. Gaining clarity around your vision and values is one strategy that has real impact as it helps you redirect your attention so you can consciously say ‘NO’ to things that are not serving you and ‘YES’ to things that make you happy”.
Overtime Ange has discovered the key to greater balance happens when you:
- Have space to reflect on your why,
- Can recognise and prioritise your own needs and values,
- Gain clarity around your vision,
- Know how to recharge your battery better and choose to
- Live in an environment that supports your wellbeing.
It is with this in mind that Ange focuses on helping women move from Busy to Balanced and has teamed up with Amy Kennedy, Professional Organiser and Coach from The Organising Bee to host a two-day retreat in Daylesford, Victoria that will support women to decompress and discover the power of each of these strategies so they can once again find happiness in a fast-paced world.
Experts in their respective fields, and co-authors of the Amazon best seller, Goodbye Busy, Hello Happy, Ange and Amy have joined forces to share their collective knowledge with our retreat guests.
Amy Kennedy notes “Finding balance can be hard and it can be an unhappy existence. Trying to be everything for everyone is not sustainable. Often meaning that we are not really living the way that we want to live”.
We created this two-day retreat so that women have time to decompress and can walk away with a deeper understanding of how to build a balanced lifestyle that will support your well-being, productivity and happiness. We also know it can be challenging to create change in your life and break ingrained habits, but if you are ready to free yourself from the constant state of rushing Ange Fragiacomo gives this advice.
“It’s time to be brave. It’s time to trust the process. Trust that the world you live in is not going to fall apart if you slow down. Trust that the people who rely on you will still thrive, even if you take some time out for yourself. Trust that it really is possible to say goodbye to that busy feeling and hello to a life that makes you happy.”
The Busy to Balanced Retreat is being held late August (25-27th) in Daylesford, Victoria. https://consciouslivinghub.com.au/busy-to-balanced-retreat/
