Announcement posted by Nutrition Warehouse 31 May 2023
For more than 10 years, Nutrition Warehouse Supplement Awards has given customers a voice to highlight the supplement brands and companies that they trust and love to support their fitness and health goals.
This allows Nutrition Warehouse to acknowledge the brands that go above and beyond to revolutionise the industry. It also provides fitness lovers with a much-needed voice in a young industry.
Each year National and International brands are pitted against each other by the people who love them, with the top three receiving awards for their quality.
This year Nutrition Warehouse is offering $1000 each day of June for fitness lovers to give their say on 13 different supplement categories.
Grant Mayo, CEO at Nutrition Warehouse, believes that the Supplement Awards provides a vital voice to consumers who want to empower fellow fitness lovers in finding the right products for them.
“After ten years of running the Supplement Awards, we believe this is a great opportunity to continue empowering customers,” the Nutrition Warehouse founder stated. "It also gives a chance to new customers to discover new products, giving consumers a chance to directly impact the trajectory of the industry.”
The supplement industry is worth $5.69 billion in Australia, with 136 products from 51 of Australia’s and the world's biggest brands being nominated to compete in this year's awards. Among the categories are prestigious awards “Brand of the Year”, “Best Supplement”, and “Best Pre-Workout”, with some of the fitness industry's heavyweight companies coming head to head.
Australian company Switch Nutrition owner and co-founder Greg Hagland says that the chance to compete against other International and Australian brands offers much-needed recognition in an industry heavily reliant on its customers.
“We are incredibly honoured to have been nominated,” Mr Hanley said. “There are so many amazing international and Australian brands to choose from, and we are so proud that Aussies are supporting Australian natural, high-quality brands like Switch Nutrition.”
Ben Kirkham, Marketing Manager for nominated brands Max and Maxine’s, agrees and is proud to be a part of a program that has run for 10 years to support the consumer's voice.
“Nutrition Warehouse wants to celebrate innovation, quality and success along with getting valuable market feedback from real customers,” Mr Kirkham said. “This really shows a level of care for the supplement industry that is hard to match!”
Voting starts on June 1st Online and in all Nutrition Warehouse stores, with consumers who enter first having a higher chance to win the daily prize.
