Food industry veteran Sunny Diec has joined boutique advisory firm Horizon3 as its Head of Consumer and Retail Advisory

SYDNEY/- Horizon3 Group Limited, a leading strategy consulting and corporate advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Mr Sunny Diec has been appointed as a Managing Partner and Head of Consumer and Retail Advisory based in Sydney, Australia. Sunny will be responsible for clients across food, beverages, consumer goods, retail and food service sectors.

Sunny is a highly experienced food & beverage industry professional specialising in corporate finance, strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions, with a 23+ year career within various multi-national consumer businesses (13+ in the FMCG and food & beverage sectors). He is adapt at driving corporate performance across multiple food sectors and sophisticated end to end supply chains in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and South East Asia.

Prior to Horizon3, Sunny served as Head of Corporate Development at Goodman Fielder, a two billion dollar listed company prior to the acquisition by Singaporean food conglomerate Wilmar International Limited. While at Goodman Fielder, Sunny was responsible for leading Group strategy, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and large investment programs across the Group Baking, Dairy, Grocery, Poultry, Oils, Flour and Commodities Trading divisions, as well as new category development and functional foods.
