AWS principal congratulates Sam Koranias on starting new financial planning practice Green Street Wealth

Principal and founder of Australian Wealth Solutions Pty Ltd (AWS) Sam Zervides has congratulated Sam Koranias on his decision to set up his own financial advisory business Green Street Wealth which will commence operating later this month.

Commenting further, Sam Zervides said Sam Koranias joined AWS in 2013 after completing his Bachelor of Business majoring in Financial Planning, initially in an administrative role before quickly progressing to paraplanner and authorised representative in August 2017.

“From his first day, Sam displayed a genuine passion for financial services, and of his many outstanding attributes, it was his excellent interpersonal skills that saw him set sights on an advice focussed career as a planner”, said Sam Zervides.

“It was an inevitable progression and reflection of his personal growth and entrepreneurial skills that Sam would operate his own planning business; and with the AWS team sincerely wish him continued success for the future”.

Responding Sam Koranias said “It’s been immensely rewarding and beneficial working with AWS, especially being mentored and coached by Sam Zervides who accelerated my personal and professional growth culminating in the decision to start Green Street Wealth”.

“The need for financial advice has never been greater and as the new generation of financial planning practitioner and business principal, I see an exciting future ahead for me personally, the new venture and for the profession”.

With respect to the business name, it reflected the street where Sam grew up and where his parents achieved their financial wealth and independence.  Even the logo incorporates an element of the family home.

Green Street Wealth will operate from premises in Hawthorn and all is in readiness with staff and service providers in place to deliver paraplanning and administrative support services.

In addition, Green Street Wealth will operate under the AFSL of Melbourne headquartered national group ASVW Financial Services.

Sam Koranias continued, “There is no doubt there will be challenges ahead, but I’ve grown up in an era filled with rapid advances in technology, constant change and need for ongoing academic study”.

“But my one, five-and ten-year goals are set; as are the strategies to achieve those objectives. Technology and new developments in communication mediums will facilitate and enable much closer personal and productive engagement and relationships with my clients and accountant / legal alliance partners”.

AWS was established in 2004 by Sam Zervides as a boutique financial planning firm committed to providing the highest levels of personalised financial planning solutions and service to businesses and individuals. 

Over the years, the practice has grown steadily and today has a highly regarded presence and reputation in the local south eastern suburban community.  In June 2021 AWS announced it would operate under the ASVW Financial Services AFSL.  Earlier this year the business relocated to larger modern premises to accommodate Private Wealth and Finance Broker services as well as growth plans and staff needs.
