Announcement posted by Life's An Adventure 04 Oct 2022
Australian Pack-free walking experts Life’s An Adventure is excited to announce their further expansion into Europe in 2023, launching six new ways to walk the iconic Camino de Santiago. A choice of itineraries across Spain, France and Portugal, over 8-18 days, provides walkers with alternative takes on this classic pilgrimage.
The Camino is a network of trails across Europe, all leading to cathedral Santiago de Compostela in northwest Spain, and Life’s An Adventure has selected six of the best routes. The itineraries are jam packed with unique walk highlights to give time poor travellers the best taste of the Camino.
“We are thrilled to be launching our new Camino walks,” says Mark Norek, CEO of Life’s An Adventure. “Our itineraries have been designed to ensure walkers experience the highlights of these long-distance trails in limited time. We traverse the most scenic terrain and stay in stunning accommodation, often spectacularly converted from historic chateaus, farmhouses and monasteries. The chance to indulge in sensational local food and wine, including the odd Michelin Star restaurant, ensures these are bucket-list walks to remember.”
Pilgrimages offer walkers an opportunity for spiritual reflection, to set a challenge, or mark a life change, while exploring new countries. Guests walk about 10-20km daily through scenic countryside, medieval towns and quaint villages.
