Renowned Regional Artist, Helen Ansell Marks Start of WA Wildflower Season With Launch of New Fine Art Exhibition and Limited Edition Fashion Collection.

The opening reception of the new Helen Ansell fine art exhibition, Floral Fashionista will be held on the 31 st of July in Mullewa, WA. This sold-out event will feature a catwalk of local and indigenous models wearing limited edition fashion designs.

2022 is set to have bumper wildflower displays following the state’s heavy rains. The regional town of Mullewa, WA is at the very heart of wildflower country and is home to Helen Ansell, an internationally renowned artist whose work features Australian native flora and fauna.

Helen’s 2022 Floral Fashionista exhibition launch has attracted distinguished guests such as Deputy Lord Mayor of Perth and Chair of Tourism Western Australia, Di Bain who will open the reception.

A new range of original Helen Ansell artwork will be available for sale alongside new products including jigsaws, neoprene picnic blankets, cushion covers and prints. Helen’s vibrant paintings celebrate the Australian countryside and have been featured in House and Garden, Vogue Living and Vanity Fair.

The collaboration between Helen Ansell and local seamstress and design company, Flax and Fleece showcases the best of Western Australian fine art and textile design and is proudly Australian made.
