Announcement posted by PC Consultancy 23 Dec 2021
Many people will be setting their New Year’s resolutions about now and Hadleigh Fischer is reminding people to include setting goals for Mental Fitness in these plans.
Hadleigh Fischer, founder of Resilience Agenda Australia and cofounder of Mental Fitness Hub, is an advocate for proactive mental health and is available for interview.
Hadleigh’s core belief is that we should look after our mental health as we would our physical health – by purposefully and deliberately creating a lifestyle, mindset and set of habits that nudge us toward mental well-being, rather than toward burnout and illness.
“Often at New Year’s time, people make resolutions about improving their health, and in particular their physical health. However, it’s less common to hear people making goals and plans and designing strategies to improve their mental health.
With the challenges of COVID-19 still with us, and so much uncertainty heading into 2022, one thing we can control are the goals we set and the amount of effort we can put into making them a reality.
A trend that is becoming popular over recent years is to think of Mental Fitness just like physical fitness. This means there are activities and strategies we can use to invest proactively into our Mental Fitness, rather than just being reactive when we start to become unwell Hadleigh has said”
Resilience Agenda helps inspire people with the skills they need to make Mental Fitness a priority through their best-selling annual diary.
“The diary helps people re-imagine their approach to their mental health in a practical and engaging way. The key is to understand the things that help, to prioritize them, and then to design strategies to implement them each day. Even just one or two things can make a huge difference to get started. Thousands of people now re-imagine their mental health as something they have a say over, not just as something that happens to them.”
The Resilience Agenda website has free information and popular podcast on how to work on your Mental Fitness based on the 10 elements of the Mental Fitness Toolkit.
Hadleigh is a renowned public and corporate keynote speaker on Mental Fitness and has spoken to global corporates providing their employees with the tools and inspiration to proactively look after their mental health.
Hadleigh is keen to share the good news about Mental Fitness with your readers and listeners and help them re-imagine a more positive and proactive approach to mental health.
