Wallbank exits Mumbrella for ACS
By Craig Daveson in Media News on Tuesday, 23rd July 2019 at 6:00amAfter two years at Mumbrella, news editor Paul Wallbank has now swapped the hip and happening streets of Chippendale for the Australian Computer Society’s (ACS) Barangaroo digs.
In his new role as the ACS’ senior technology editor, Wallbank will be responsible for generating stories for the society’s publications, constructing public policy positions and relieving Information Age editor Roulla Yiacoumi whenever she is on leave.
He made the announcement last week in a blog post which shed some light on his time at Mumbrella, and in particular, the challenges associated with modern online journalism.
