The Courier-Mail launches CANVAS

The Courier-Mail has launched a new entertainment, culture and travel lift-out for the Saturday newspaper called CANVAS.
The debut edition of the weekly supplement will be available from tomorrow with 28 pages of features covering travel, music, books, art and theatre across Queensland.
The Courier-Mail editor Christopher Dore said the title is “delighted” to be able to celebrate the state’s art community in CANVAS.
“The investment in this product demonstrates our commitment to the Queensland market and to the weekend newspaper,” he said in a press release.
Edited by The Courier-Mail’s life editor, Gillian Cumming, CANVAS will also have articles from writers including Phil Brown, Noel Mengel, William McInnes, Leigh Paats...
