Francis becomes travel reporter

Chantelle Francis has been appointed as a Travel Reporter at news.com.au. Francis was most recently a news reporter at news.com.au for more than a year.  She has worked across various newspaper and television outlets as a reporter including news intern at Network 10, AAP and WIN Television, editorial assistant at The Weekly Times, Journalist at WIN Television.  Her stint at The Weekly Times as a syndication editor, social media coordinator for three years has seen her coordinate and getting the stories published across the wider NewsCorp network. Carina Rossi has been appointed to lead nine.com.au’s product review and affiliate shopping site, 9Product Reviews.  Under Rossi’s leadership, the team will write reviews across tech, kitchen, living, beauty, fashion, travel, health, fitness and parenting while also covering major sales events and shopping deals.  Rossi was most recently the style editor at 9Honey for more than 4 years. Rossi has also worked as a senior editor at PopSugar for 4 years and assumed various roles at Girlfriend magazine for 7 years.

New deputy editors at The Age

The Age has appointed Orietta Guerrera and Mathew Dunckley as co-deputy editors. Guerrera takes up the new role from her position as the reader editor at the Nine’s metro mastheads for nearly three years. She shared her new role on LinkedIn saying The Age has been a part of her life for a long time and she is excited to take up the new role. “Am thrilled and honoured to accept the role of one of The Age's two new deputy editors, along with Mathew Dunckley. Nine network has announced that Mia Glover will be fronting the 9News Queensland weekend bulletin from this Saturday. Brown joins Seven Network in July

The Seven Network has announced that Australia’s one of the famous television presenters, Chris Brown, will join the network in July from Network 10. Brown will join the network after co-hosting his final season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here with Julia Morris in April. John McDuling has announced that he has finished up at the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age after nearly 8 years.  McDuling is excited that “a new challenge awaits” but will miss Fairfax papers.
