Redwave stations changed to Hit and Triple M brand

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) is rebranding the WA radio stations it acquired last year from Redwave Media as part of Hit Network or Triple M, effective 8AM AEDT on 16 March.
Under a new plan announced today, the Hit Network is taking 106.5 Red FM in Karratha, 101.3 Red FM in Broome, 91.7 Red FM in Port Hedland, and 96.5 Red FM – Geraldton plus Red FM’s remote sites into its fold. They will be respectively known as Hit 106.5, Hit 101.3, Hit 91.7, Hit 96.5, and Hit WA.
Triple M will absorb Spirit 98.1 FM in Geraldton as 98.1 Triple M, Spirit 102.9 FM in Broome a 102.9 Triple M, Spirit 94.1 FM in Port Hedland as 94.1 Triple M, and Spirit 102.5 FM in Karratha as 102.5 Triple M.
