Nour Haydar resigns from ABC over cultural diversity concerns

Haydar, who joined ABC as a cadet in 2017 and moved to federal politics reporting in 2019, stated her decision was clear following internal scrutiny of the broadcaster’s coverage.
“I have resigned from the ABC. This was not a decision I made lightly, but one I made with total clarity,” she stated.
She further emphasised that cultural diversity should be respected even when they challenge the status quo. "Commitment to diversity in the media cannot be skin deep," she added.
