George Nott is moving on from IDG titles CIO and Computerworld (pictured).
He said in a Tweet that he had bid the publications farewell after over three years, taking the time to thank editors Rohan Pearce and Byron Connolly for their help.
Nott joined IDG Communications Australia in May 2016 after a year of content writing for a Sydney communications agency.

Lucy Holmes is excusing herself from working at 89.9 Light FM, for now.
She stated in a broadcast of the Lucy and Kel Show this week that she will undergo emergency surgery for endometriosis, the diagnosis of which she learned earlier this month.
Holmes claimed that the situation will put her out of action for quite some time, especially as she was hoping to have another child.
“I just want to keep everybody up to date because I really treasure this relationship on-air and I believe part of my job as an announcer is to be very authentic with you and let you know what is going on,” she said.

Travel magazine Five Star Kids (pictured) has been merged with Holidays with Kids, reported Mumbrella.
Parent company Signature Media announced this week that the merge calls for Five Star Kids to be rebranded as The Luxe Edit, a section of Holidays with Kids focusing on luxury family travel content.
The June-September 2020 edition of Holidays with Kids will be the first issue to carry the new section, and the Holidays with Kids website will also have an associated The Luxe Edit subsection. Current Five Star Kids subscribers will be offered the option to continue with Holidays with Kids or another Signature Media title.
The move is part of Signature’s 2020 strategic plans.

Nine has promoted Elizabeth Adam from supervising producer of Today Extra to executive producer.
She had been the show’s supervising producer since January 2016.
Catherine Williams succeeds Adam in the post. She had been the Today Show and Today Extra’s senior producer since January 2018.

Online travel portal Lux Nomade is preparing to publish its first print issue in May 2020.
The new publication aims to feature the most exquisite luxury travel, beauty and personal wellness options, while continuing to cater to the female online reader base.
The Lux Nomade team has chosen a number of luxury hotels in Sydney and commercial establishments in affluent neighbourhoods to stock copies of the magazine for distribution.

Elwin Media has assumed the publishing duties of women’s travel content brand Travel Play Live.
The move puts Elwin Media in charge of Travel Play’s bi-annual print magazine, website, and social media outlets, and aligned with Elwin’s Out & About with Kids family travel magazine.
Travel Play’s new thrust will also feature content such as successful women working in the travel and tourism industries, and organisations reputed for giving back to communities.
Former News Corp Australia national travel reporter Angela Saurine has come aboard as editor of the magazine. Travel Boating Lifestyle blog founder and outdoors enthusiast Fiona Harper has been hired as digital editor.
