Hit Network unveils dynamic summer lineup for 2023

The Hit Network has unveiled its summer lineup for 2023, commencing on December 4. The schedule includes The Jimmy & Nath Show, Hamish & Andy podcast, Nights with Seany B, and special broadcasts for Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. The dynamic radio duo Jimmy Smith and Nath Roye will transition from the night shift to host the national Breakfast show from 6-9 am on weekdays. They plan to tackle a nationwide challenge known as 'Left Lieutenant Day' on December 22. Amanda Lee, Head of Hit Metro Content and 101.9 The Fox Content Director, expressed excitement about the summer programming, highlighting the National Breakfast show and the return of popular podcasts. “As we wrap another fantastic year, there’s no slowing down for the Hit Network; in fact we are just starting to heat things up with our summer programming.” Hamish Blake and Andy Lee, renowned podcasters, will bring their wit and charm to the Drive slot nationally across Hit stations from 4-6 pm on weekdays.

Gilded Waves: 92.5 Triple M Gold shines on the Gold Coast

Triple M has officially been renamed to 92.5 Triple M Gold, paying homage to its Gold Coast heritage. The station features Flan, Ali & Spida for Breakfast, local drive home with The Rush Hour’s Leisel Jones, Liam & Dobbo, and Goldy’s biggest sing-along favourites from the Gold FM playlist. SCA Chief Content Officer, Dave Cameron, stated, Gold Coast audiences loved the Gold brand, and were excited to see the evolution of this station with more of the Gold variety of music. Breakfast announcer Spida Everitt expressed joy, saying, "The gold is back where it belongs, right there in our name. Cameron noted “every morning Ali, Flan, and I broadcast straight out of Broadie to Bundall and Benowa, Coolangatta and Coomera, up the mountains to the green behind our beloved gold at Tamborine and all in between, and we love it." 92.5 Triple M Gold aims to be the Gold Coast's very own radio station, celebrating the region's music variety and heritage.

4BC announces dynamic 2024 lineup with a wave of local and live programming

4BC Brisbane has unveiled its live and local lineup for 2024, featuring seasoned journalist Peter Fegan leading 4BC Weekends.  Content Manager Max Dudley praised Fegan, emphasising his distinction as a “senior journalist and fervent advocate for the city.” Dudley highlighted 4BC’s commitment to serving Brisbane with live and local shows. “4BC is Brisbane’s only radio station with live and local shows from 5.30am to 7.00pm every weekday. Michael McLaren to helm 2GB Afternoons starting January 2024

Michael McLaren, a well-regarded broadcaster, will take over the 2GB Afternoons slot starting January 2024. McLaren, a familiar voice to 2GB listeners, began his journey with the station in 2006 as a program producer. He moved to on-air roles in 2011, initially hosting the Weekend Overnight show, and later leading the Monday-Friday Australia Overnights from 2016. In 2023, McLaren captivated audiences with 2GB's top-rated Weekend Mornings program. McLaren shared his enthusiasm about his new role and called it an honour to host the Afternoons show.
