Emma Rogers steps down from the cloud
By Phil Sim in Marcoms News on Friday, 27th October 2023 at 11:33amEmma Rogers will depart her role as regional director of Public Relations at Amazon Web Services next week in a decision that may call time on her stellar career in corporate communications.
"It's something I've been thinking about and working towards for a long time," Rogers told Influencing in an exclusive interview. "Over a career of 35 years, I've never really had any time in my life I haven't been working for a big corporate".
In the short term, Rogers just wants to "slow down and do some life admin", and is looking forward to spending some time with her father and help him to write his memoir. "As you get older, it makes you realise how important family history is".
While she had no firm plans beyond that, she did say anything she did in the future would be a "step change".
