Daylight agency born from merger

By Craig Daveson in Marcoms News on
PR firm ICON International Communications and ad agency chris+geoff have announced a merger this week, creating a new agency known as Daylight.

Daylight’s unique offering and tagline is “promoting and protecting brands”, with managing director Chris Gray taking the view that true brand resilience can only come from getting the right mix of promotion and protection. As such, the Daylight’s point of difference, is in viewing a company holistically to determine to proper approach to any opportunity.

“In a world of disruption, we took the important decision to evolve and reshape the firm to provide a unique industry leading business proposition in the changing marketplace,” said Gray.

“Bringing together the two businesses has created a fully integrated communication services firm capable of brand management in good times and bad.”

Daylight’s business focus is on five core areas: advertising, digital and social, marketing, public relations and reputation management. Those will be served through Daylight’s expertise in brand strategy, content development, crisis communication, design, digital, experiential, production, social media and executive training.

Daylight has a mix of multinational, national and local clients who are serviced from Daylight’s Sydney office of around 20 staff, as well as personnel in other key locations.
