CRN welcomes Arboleda to the team

By Craig Daveson in Media News on
CRN has added Nico Arboleda to its ranks as the publication’s newest journalist.

Arboleda hails from Sydney and has previously worked as a copywriter and journalist in the Philippines. In those roles he covered anything from green technology and high-school technology students to the NYSE and NASDAQ markets.

After his most recent return to Australia, Arboleda had planned to enter the Information Technology course at the Australian National University, but ended up in a full-time role at CRN instead.

Speaking to Influencing, Arboleda said that he is excited to return to the newsroom and focus on the IT channel beat.

“The team has been great in helping me ease into the role, supporting me where needed and teaching me everything I need to know to succeed in this role. We all love a good laugh and the occasional beer,” said Arboleda.

“It wasn’t quite what I remembered when I was growing up in the western suburbs, but the hustle and bustle of Sydney has been a great change of scenery from the much quieter Canberra and the chaos of Southeast Asian cities.”

In his new role, Arboleda will focus all things IT channel related, including vendors, distributors, and resellers. He is also on the hunt for any news about successful Aussie IT projects.

Nico can be reached at CRN via narboleda@crn.com.au with the latest channel news.
