Robertson’s illustrious career began in 1972 at ABC Radio, followed by stints at 2Day FM, 2UE, and Classic FM, where he transitioned seamlessly between commercial and public broadcasting.
In the 1980s, he moved to television, hosting a late-night news show that became famous for its satirical edge and offbeat commentary.
He also hosted Beauty and the Beast and gained notoriety for his sharp, humorous exchanges with co-hosts Caroline Jones and Margaret Throsby.
