ABC shakes up Entertainment division with new leadership hire
By Neeraja Gopalakrishnan in Media News on Monday, 18th September 2023 at 4:41pmThe ABC has announced Rachel Millar's appointment as Head of Entertainment. In this role, she will oversee programmes such as Hard Quiz, The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, Gruen, and the Fresh Blood comedy initiative.
Millar will report to Jennifer Collins as the Head of Scripted. Rachel Okine is the Head of Factual Research. Susie Jones, Libbie Doherty, Head of Children's and Family, and Kath Earle, Head of Arts, Music, and Events.
Millar stated that it was an honour to be named Head of Entertainment because she had grown up watching various ABC entertainment programmes.
