A Drive-In Cinema Is Coming To The North Shore

This spring, Sunset Cinema presents a new drive-in experience at the iconic St Ives Showground, with Ku-Ring-Gai Council as our venue partner.
After bringing you outdoor cinemas across Australia for over 7 years, Sunset Cinema is now presenting this new COVID-safe event for the North Shore community.
From 1st til 31st October, we’re bringing back the old-school drive-in experience with a selection of nostalgic classics, family films and long-awaited blockbuster releases. After a long winter of isolation, Sunset Drive In Ku-Ring-Gai is this seasons entertainment salvation.
Perfect for date nights, family nights or girls catch ups in a time of social distancing, we’re here to ensure a fun and safe event to delight everyone. This includes bringing along your furry friends, as dogs are welcome too!
Love a night of spine-tingling terror? Parked in the darkened St Ives Show ground, this Halloween, have your blankets ready to hide behind and watch back to back horror’s Scream and The Blair Witch Project.
The gates open from 6:30pm giving you plenty of time to order on site food and snacks or to get stuck into your own BYO feast. To complete your cinema experience we will also be serving up the essential snacks including hot popcorn! Caminito food truck will be there each night serving you a delicious range of street food.
With excellent value of $50 plus booking fee (up to 8 people), fill up your car with your fellow movie lovers and come enjoy Sunset Drive In Ku-ring-gai.
