AMGC to hire PR/communications expert

The person will be primarily tasked to develop and execute new campaigns to help improve AMGC’s status as a manufacturing industry stakeholder. The work will include creating standard PR materials, liaising with media contacts, managing and updating the AMGC’s social media accounts, and monitoring media coverage involving the AMGC. In addition, the successful candidate will closely work with the managing director and the five State Directors on the AMGC’s media program and associated activities.
Candidates must have had between three to five years’ experience in a PR agency, especially one where they have been involved in B2B account activities and managed campaigns from concept to events and final reporting. The person should be proficient in MS Office, very fluent in English oral and written skills, notably in punctuation and grammar. They also should have an extensive PR contact database and deep knowledge of media, politics, business, and the manufacturing sector.
