Julie Lee to take over at Weight Watchers
By Tim Lince in Media News on Tuesday, 30th October 2012 at 4:44pm After snatching the rights to Weight Watchers magazine from Pacific Magazines, Bauer Custom Media (formerly ACP Magazines) has named Julie Lee as its new editor.
Assuming the role when Bauer Custom takes over the contract from the March 2013 issue, Lee (pictured) joins the magazine from her current role as managing editor of NewsLifeMedia and Woolworths title Australian Good Taste, a position she has held for a decade.
She will be tasked in redefining the magazine’s profile in the health and wellbeing category, and also reasserting its position as a market-leader.
The current editor of Weight Watchers is Jennifer Connell, who was appointed in February this year.
